Comparison and technical data

Your residence, year of birth, deductible, accident cover and selected models are sent to our server for the calculation. Any current insurer and model you provide serve as a reference. No email address is required for a comparison.

When you visit the site, your IP address is transmitted to the web server. Technical logs may contain access and error information. PHP uses a session cookie to operate the site. Please do not enter diagnoses or treatment details in the search.

Premium updates by email

If you subscribe to premium updates, we store your email address with your search details and the IP address used at registration. This includes your residence, selected models, years of birth, deductibles, accident cover and any current insurer and model provided. These details are used for your requested premium update.

You can cancel and request deletion at any time by emailing mike@digimen.ch. We retain registration data for the purpose of your subscribed update. Required legal retention and investigations into misuse remain reserved.

External content and links

Maps load tiles from Esri. Some coats of arms come from Wikimedia. When these are loaded, the providers receive information including your IP address and technical browser details. External links and linked advertising images open the destination site only when clicked; that provider’s privacy information then applies.

Google AdSense

k-check.ch is intended to use Google AdSense. When serving ads, Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers and process data with partners. Whether and which ads are served depends in part on Google’s approval and the applicable consent settings.

Retention and your requests
